Alexandros Miaris is a classically trained musician/composer who has extensively worked on a triptych of Classical music - Modular electronic / Electroacoustic and Eastern traditional music.
His approach to film music is to create eclectic and unique sounds and scores through the juxtaposition of different techniques in order to produce scores that one would call distinctive and unconventional.
After his classical training from the age of 6, he moved to London for studies in electroacoustic composition and scoring for films while getting involved in various projects and writing music for diverse films, theatre and band based projects. He has scored European and US independent productions plus projects for clients such as the BBC, National Gallery, Apple, EMI records and many others.
Not limited to composition, Miaris is also an accomplished performer. He has toured extensively, showcasing his skills as a pianist, vocalist, guitarist, Persian santoor player, and modular electronics performer. Sharing the stage with notable acts like The Prodigy, Alan Parsons Project, and Interpol, Miaris has captivated audiences worldwide.
Beyond his solo endeavors, Miaris is the founder and front-man of Electric Litany, a London-based musical project. The band has gained global recognition, drawing praise from fans, press, and renowned artists and composers alike. Notably, Miaris received acclaim and the opportunity to collaborate and co-produce an album with acclaimed producer Alan Parsons, known for his work with Pink Floyd and The Beatles.
